Affected versions

  • Firefox 140.0b4

Tested platforms

Preconditions

  • ensure browser.profiles.enabled is set to true in about:config.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create Profile A: Hamburger menu -> Profiles -> + New profile.
  2. In the about:newprofile page click on Explore more themes.
  3. Find and install the Cozy Rain Goddess theme.
  4. Go to Hamburger menu → Profile A → Edit.
  5. Observe the added chip and the Avatar.
  6. Open Manage Profile and observe the card corresponding to Profile A.
  7. Observe the Avatar Badge in the Taskbar/Dock.
  8. Create Profile B and access any Profile section to view Profile A's display.

Expected result

  • The cards and avatars should be displayed properly when a theme from AMO is applied.

Actual result
5. The chip of the installed AMO theme is visually inconsistent with other chips and the Avatar is not visible at all.
6. The Profile card is displayed without an avatar in the Profile selector.
7. The Avatar badge in the Taskbar/Dock appears uncircled.
8. The Avatar is not visible unless being mouse hovered.
