I am subscribed to an externally reachable corporate mailing list,
"sales@company.com". The bulk of mail to this address is spam. I have been
using a Message Filter to move this mail into a local folder.
I have been training the 1.3 beta spam filter for a few weeks now. While it is
working, it does not seem to catch any spam that is processed by this (and
presumably any) message filter (that moves messages?).
Solutions:
1. make spam filter fire first.
2. force filtered mail through spam filter before redirecting.
3. make the spam filter visible in the message filters dialog, and allow user to
determine the order in which it fires.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
I didn't actually try it this way, but...
1. Create a message filter that redirects, say, all mail to a folder
2. Get mail for a while.
3.
Actual Results:
No spam gets caught.
Expected Results:
As above, one of:
1. make spam filter fire first.
2. force filtered mail through spam filter before redirecting.
3. make the spam filter visible in the message filters dialog, and allow user to
determine the order in which it fires.
