Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Firefox version: Firefox 139.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://bapenda.jabarprov.go.id/infopkb/
  2. Observe the page

Expected Behavior:
Firefox is a recommended browser message displayed

Actual Behavior:
Chrome is the only recommended browser message displayed

Notes:

  • Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproduces in firefox-nightly, and firefox-release
  • Does not reproduce in chrome

Webcompat Score: --- → 1

Since nightly and release are affected, beta will likely be affected too.

It's not just a warning, it's effectively broken. There's supposed to be iFrame content, but that's not there. Looking at the CSS:

iframe {
    height: -webkit-fill-available;
    /* ... */
}

Just setting -moz-available doesn't work, the iFrame is still off-screen. But nothing we can't fix.

This subdomain seems to be gone now, so we can probably remove the intervention.

The page is not available anymore. Dennis, how should we mark this?

The site is gone so it doesn't matter much; but based on comment 2, this would have been fixed by the patch that I've just landed in bug 1988938.

I've added that as the platform-bug here, and I'm removing the dependency on bug 1872755 (which remains open and tracks broader support beyond what would have been needed here).

No longer depends on: 1872755
