Computer using Nvidia Geforce 4200 graphics card with current WHQL drivers has
one monitor set to 1600X1200 resolution and the other set to 1024X768. Mozilla
functions correctly on smaller resolution monitor. Mozilla also functions
correctly on 1600X1200 monitor if kept at or below 1024X768 resolution. Attempts
to maximize window result in failure to draw menu buttons, webpage, and some
other areas. After maximizing, reducing browser size back to <= 1024X768 fixes
issues.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run on computer using Nvidia nView software on 2 monitors
2. Set resolution of 1 monitor to be greater than the other.
3. Maximize Mozilla on larger resolution monitor.

Actual Results:
Mozilla did not render GUI or webpage.

Expected Results:
Render correctly.
bug 95740 was about the same thing on Mac.

related to/dup of bug 127575
I tried it with dual NVidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 (32.Meg) based video cards using
driver 44.03, and had no problems. I have a single dual-output Ti4200 at home,
and I'll have to try it there.

PS: I tried it with the secondary monitor at 1600x1200 and 1280x1024, while
keeping the primary at 1024x768. No problems with moving, resizing, or
maximizing the browser window.

I'm running Mozilla 1.4-final in Windows 2000/SP4
I can confirm this for Win2k and Mozilla 1.6.
I have a Matrox Dual Head G550.

The pop-up menus do not appear on the second monitor, when the browser is being
displayed. Instead, the menus show up on the primary screen.
Blocks: multimon-win
Correct Description spelling error.

Product: Core → Mozilla Application Suite
Menus in both Mozilla and Thunderbird are trapped on the primary screen when the
window they are called from is located on a second monitor.

I'm running Mac OS X (panther) on a powerbook with a second monitor (benq P992)
with resolution 1085X768.(In reply to comment #4)

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
