User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030314 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030314 With the gtk2 version of Mozilla, on RedHat 8.0, I'm unable to enter accentuated characters in HTML forms, and the mozilla text fields (URL, etc.), with "dead key" and french keyboard. Typing '^'+'o' should display the 'פ' character but it display the 'o' char. Other accentuated chars (like יטא) are working correctly, this problem only affect the "compound" chars. I tried the gtk1+xft version and accentuated chars with dead key are working as expected. So the problem is with the gtk2 version. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Typing "compound" chars does not work with mozilla with gtk2 support
