User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 The browser crashes after you close mail then the browser via the taskbar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Browser. (let page load finish) 2. Open Mail. (cancel out of any prompts to check your mail) 3. Close Mail by right clicking on taskbar entry of Mail and clicking Close. 4. Close Browser by right clicking on taskbar entry of Browser and clicking Close. Actual Results: Browser closed, then mozilla crashed. Windows throws up an error very similar to Bug 66643 (bug 66643 comment #2). In fact, this bug is very similar, but since this hasn't started until I got 1.3final, and that is from such a long time ago, I figured it was unrelated. Expected Results: Completed Shutdown. Talkback crash ID: TB18079307X I do not use quickstart.
Since nobody confirmed this bug (and it was happening to me often), I figured it was just my fault so I bit the dust and just re-installed *with a new profile*. While deleting my profile, something wouldn't let go of my "Mozilla" profile directory (under application data), so I figured a way to finally delete it, and then re-installed. Everything seems to be working fine now. I don't know what was holding on to the folder, because my moz process was closed, and it still wouldn't delete. I digress. I will let you decide if this should be resolved, invalid, wfm, or whatever, but it seems like nobody else is having this problem, and I fixed mine. Thanks!
Marking WFM per reporter's comment.
