User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:140.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/140.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. have monitor that is scaled 2x at 1440p like so: HDMI-A-1,2560x1440@120,0x0,2
  2. have unscaled monitor like so: monitor=DP-1,highrr,1280x0,1 (144hz 2560x1440 without scaling)
  3. fullscreen app on unscaled monitor
  4. send to workspace scaled 2x

Actual results:

notice that firefox doesn't resize itself automatically, it used to, this does not happen with floorp, and does happen with librewolf as well.

Expected results:

the window should not have cut off the bottom right corner.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Looks like a bug in hyprland compositor. I expect librewolf doesn't use Wayland so you don't see it there.

Priority: -- → P3
Summary: Fullscreen windows not resized when sent to other workspace on hyprland → [hyprland] Fullscreen windows not resized when sent to other workspace

No, i've ensured they are all running wayland with hyprctl, it is floorp that doesn't do it, and floorp is forked off of an older firefox. No other applications are doing this other than firefox and librewolf.

Can you run mozregression to try find out when it broke?

I believe this smells a lot like bug 1974876. Can you check a build from https://nightly.mozilla.org?
