Right clicking on the big image should save the celebrities_260.jpg instead of a
html file. Right clicking on a image should save a image. Besides, this image
is intended for saving as desktop wallpaper.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. visit http://www.mota.ru/download.php?path=celebrities&img=260.jpg
2. right click on celebrities_260.jpg to save the image
Actual Results:
a html is saved.
Expected Results:
a jpeg file should have been saved.

surprisingly, these images save in Phoenix fine!
please vote on this bug!!!
WFM, Linux.
It seems you forgotten a step? Simply right-clicking the image saves nothing.
Exactly what do you do after right-clicking on it? What is the name of the saved
html file?
Oh I'm so sorry let me do this all over. This time I really have reproduced it
according to my steps :P
Steps to Reproduce:
1. visit http://www.mota.ru/images.php?path=celebrities
2. click on any of the tumbnails to get a popup window
3. after that window is poped up, right click the big image
4. click "Save image as"
5. it tries to save the image as "celebrities_???.jpg.html"(where ???=any digit)
Actual Results:
a html file is saved.
Expected Results:
a jpeg file should have been saved.
Are the contents of the file in html format, or is it a jpg file with an
additional file extention?
The entire contents of the files are in html format.
Can somebody confirm this? Thanks

Confirming it would be wrong, since it's a duplicate... (and in the wrong
component to boot).

This is a dup of us not sending the right referrer on "save as".

I confirm this with 20030426 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 on WinXP. While I can
successfully save the image at the reported address, I witness the reported
behavior with an image at http://www.molly.ru/index.php?w=natasha&num=4 (DO NOT
LOOK if you are under 18 or easily offended! :) ). Interestingly, it worked fine
with some images in the same series... at one time... and then it didn't some
time later. Strange.

I can confirm this with Mozilla/5.0 Gecko/20031007.
To me it seems to be a problem with caching the images. Sometimes after browsing
for several hours, I'm no more able to save a image in a htm page. Instead of
saving the image, a html file will be saved. After reloading the page for
several times, saving the image can be performed successfully. Every time I
reload the page, it seems the image will be reloaded from the web server instead
from the cache (displaying a image from cache is much faster then loading the
image from the server).

Sometimes after browsing for several hours, I can't get Mozilla (Firebird) to
connect to the Internet at all. Or Thunderbird. And sometimes I have to kill it
because it freezes. So, not being able to save an image is relatively an
innocent bug. They really need to work on robustness of the software. It needs
to be able to monitor itself and recover from problems. Instead of freezing over
not being able to connect to the net, it could've informed me of that and asked
me to restart it.

I saw exactly the same symptoms I saw in bug 203204.
