User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 all files downloaded are saved as jpeg files...for example, when downloading an application or any other file, it saves it as a *.jpeg file ...didnt encounter same problem with IE Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.click on link for download 2. 3. Actual Results: when folder where file is to be saved comes up, it defaults to *.jpeg...download manager adds "*.jpeg" to file extension example: winzip.exe.jpeg Expected Results: download file as is...when downloading applications for example, file should have a "*.exe" extension
delete the application/octet-stream entry in edit/preferences/helper apps. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 189598 ***
