This bug is to specifically add telemetry for offer to translate as requested by UX for better understanding how many users opt in or out of the popup offers.

There are two places to change this.

Place 1 - Bottom Sheet Cog:

  • Open the translations bottom sheet
  • Select the cog "Translation Settings" icon
  • Offer toggle is present there

Place 2 - Translations Global Settings:

  • From the three dot menu, then Settings
  • Select Translations from the settings menu
  • There should be an offer toggle there is well

(We may also want to add telemetry for the other settings, but "offer" was specifically requested.)

This could be completed on the Android side or in toolkit.

May need to research how languages can independently have different "offer" options too and talk to UX partners if we need this telemetry as well.
