Currently, you are prompted to save a draft when you close the compose window without sending, and if you press save, the message is correctly saved to your drafts folder. However, if you press the save button to save the draft from the compose window, then the draft is not saved. Then, if you close the compose window, it closes without prompting and the draft is lost forever.
