Details
When attempting to send messages in the Unsent Messages folder, and an error occurred on one of the messages (such as a server not found problem), mail will stop from trying to send the rest of the messages in the Unsent Messages folder. Per Seth, this should not stop. It should try to send the other messages left in the Unsent Messages folder. I could not verify if entering a wrong password (on IMAP accounts) stops this process or not because our mail servers do not require a password for sending messages, only for retrieve them. The reason why a password is even asked (when it's not required to send messages) is so mail can save a copy of it in the Sent folder.
