Steps to reproduce:

Have a lot of folders and subfolders in Thunderbird 140.1.0esr
Close and reopen Thunderbird
Now it takes a long time for thunderbird to index all the folders and subfolders.

Actual results:

The folders seems to be shuffled around, as thunderbird is sorting all the folders in alphabetical order every time it has to add a folder.

Expected results:

I would love to have a way to shut off the folder sorting introduced in 140.1.0esr. It's a great feature and it works well for users without a lot of folders and subfolders, but it would be great to be able to turn it off.

This will be available in Thunderbird 142.
