User Story

Acceptance criteria:
- Closing Firefox through the different entry points (Close Firefox Window, File/Quit, Hamburger menu/Quit) terminates the user session
- On next Firefox Enterprise launch the user must authenticate though SSO

Acceptance criteria:

  • Firefox has a toolbar button with the user initial on it (similar to FxA implementation).
  • Clicking this button lets the user Sign-out from the browser, which brings the user back to the authentication screen.
  • Locking the computer won’t require re-authentication
    (Non Foxfooding scenario: Closing the Firefox application won’t require re-authentication (admin control))

Notes:

If we can leverage the current FxA UI we should also have the hamburger menu sign-out (which IIUIC only copies the toolbar button behavior). about:preferences#sync should be disabled in the UI too
