Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:141.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/141.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Download and install latest Firefox stable for Linux.
- Launch it.
- Resize the window by grabbing edges and dragging
Actual results:
Different parts of the window (web content, headerbar, corners) resize at different speeds and with visible artifacts.
Expected results:
Window frame should have stayed intact as the window content resized.
Video demonstrates resizing of Firefox vs other GTK3 apps (specifically, the GTK3 demo, though most other GTK3 apps work as well as it). I couldn't attach as it is over 30 MB, so I had to use a gdrive link. I was using Fedora 42 Workstation to record and a fresh Fedora 42 Workstation VM to run Firefox (from .tar.xz) and gtk3-demo.

Also worth noting this doesn't appear to be a new issue. I tested with the latest 141, but these glitches or issues like them have been present throughout my usage of Firefox on Linux (> 2 years, maybe?)

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Could you provide your about:support and your desktop environment (GNOME? Window Manager? version?)
Could you also try nightly?
