Found in
- 142.0.1 (aarch64)
Tested platforms: MacOS 15.3.2 (24D81), Ubuntu:22.04
Steps to reproduce
- Open a new tab; type 'openstreetmap'.
- Use the DuckDuckGo one-off and press Enter to search (SERP shows terms + DuckDuckGo chip).
- Click Images, then Videos (address bar shows URL; no chip).
- Click the All tab to return to the main results."
Expected result
- On the All SERP, the address bar should show the persisted terms ('openstreetmap') with the DuckDuckGo engine chip, matching default-engine behavior.
Actual result
- After clicking All, the address bar shows the full duckduckgo.com URL with the site identity/lock icon and star (no engine chip; no persisted terms).
Regression range
- From 1921092
Additional Notes
- As shown in ScreenRecording1, if with default @google, after Step 4, it shares the same issue.
