User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/140.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I created a relja@example.COM account in Thunderbird.
All good.
Then,
I tried to add a relja@example.NET account.

Windows 11,
Thunderbird 143.0.1 (64-bit)

Actual results:

Thunderbird got stuck on "account already exists" - since it apparently can't figure out that stuff after the "@" sign is different- i.e. it's not the same email account.

Expected results:

I should have been able to add my second email account.
