Thunderbird hangs when adding a new email account if the email domain differs from the actual mail server. It keeps validating and won’t open manual setup unless the user disconnects from the internet

Details

Steps to reproduce:

1.	Open Thunderbird
2.	Add an existing email account (works correctly).
3.	Try to add a second account with an email under the domain mail@example.com.
4.	Enter server settings where the IMAP server is imap.test.com.

Actual results:

The setup process gets stuck on “validating” and never completes. The app keeps trying to connect to the mail server indefinitely and does not allow access to the manual configuration screen unless the computer is disconnected from the internet.

Expected results:

After a short timeout or failed validation attempt, the app should provide the option to manually configure the account (entering IMAP/SMTP settings) without requiring an internet disconnection.

Correction to the reproduction steps:
1. Open Thunderbird.
2. Add an existing email account (works correctly).
3. Try to add a second account with an email under the domain mail@example.com, where the IMAP server is imap.test.com.
