Steps to reproduce:

I wanted to bring my Gmail account into Thunderbird.

Actual results:

Everything went well in the beginning. All server parameters for incoming and outgoing were setup properly.
But then it could not connect to my account, saying: maybe my password or email was not typed correctly.
But everything was working fine on my laptop

Expected results:

Finally, I found out that on my PC was running a Web server but not on my Laptop.
I attach a screenshot (I have it only in German) that explains to me what is happening. The confirming request for Google is first sent to localhost. And since my localhost is there but not answering it, it is never sent to Google.
After stopping my web server, I could add my Gmail to Thunderbird.
The same is happening when I change my Google password.
