1998612 - Extensions' icons are grey

Steps to reproduce

1. Install any extension.
2. Open a websites and observe the extensions icons.

Expected behavior

The extensions' icons are displayed without issues.

Actual behavior

The extensions' icons are respecting the form, but are grey, not colored.

Device information

• Firefox version: Nightly 146.0a1
• Android devices: all

Even though this issue follows right after bug 1997106 I'm not convinced that caused it.
Will investigate.

Found that this was actually caused by bug 1991937 which landed very near to bug 1997106.

@Julie @Noah Given that we're close to a new beta cut it would be great if this could be fixed soon before getting to be an issue for the wider audience.

Verified as fixed on the latest Firefox for Android Nightly 146.0a1 from 11/9 from Play Store.
Tested with a Pixel 6 (Android 16), and a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 (Android 14).
