I'v this entry in my bookmarks.html :
<DT><A
HREF="file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Dmitry%20Kubov/Favorites/">Imported
IE Favorites</A>
This works fine in 1.3 release, but does not work in 1.4alpha
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Add A HREF record pointing to Favorites folder
Actual Results:
file browser opened
Expected Results:
bookmarks subtree as in 1.3 release

This is happening to me also. I had a file:///home/my-home entry in my
bookmarks, and used to access all my homedir files through it. Now, it is not
expanded anymore, and became just an ordinary bookmark entry which opens the
given url.
I think it is missing an important mozilla functionality.
Confirmed on Linux, so OS -> All. Someone, please, set it. I'm not empowered enough.

If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way.
If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar).
If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state.
