Steps to reproduce:
I'm using Thunderbird on Windows 11 with my Outlook email account. I can receive email, but when I try to send an email, it tells me the password is wrong. When I check the password in the Privacy and Security settings, Thunderbird has changed the password to a long string of letters, numbers, and symbols. I enter the correct password, but it keeps changing back to the incorrect password. I have tried deleting and re-adding the account. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird. Same result.
Actual results:
When I check the password in the Privacy and Security settings, Thunderbird has changed the password to a long string of letters, numbers, and symbols. I enter the correct password, but it keeps changing back to the incorrect password. I have tried deleting and re-adding the account. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird. Same result.
Expected results:
Thunderbird should have logged in to my SMTP server.

I answered this yesterday in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1550812 - I don't see your reply there.
