STR:
- Use the dark Firefox theme
- Use the light color scheme for websites
- open the default Firefox home page (about:newtab)
Actual:
The background of about:newtab has a light color.
Expected:
The background of about:newtab has a dark color.
Additional information:
I think there are definitely arguments as to why the new behavior might make more sense than the old one (if you consider about:newtab more of a website than a part of browser interface). So perhaps this is a WONTFIX. On the other hand, I don't read anything in bug 1993056 that indicates an intentional change. That's why I created this ticket on suspicion, just to make sure that Firefox still behaves as desired.

It's a wontfix in the sense that we used to explicitly theme the newtab page and now we don't. So this seems pretty expected. Thanks for filing tho.
