Steps to reproduce:
Every 7 days my university outlook exchange account requires reauthentication from the authenticator app.
Actual results:
It requires both my password as well as the code from the authenticator app.
Expected results:
Other email clients, such as apple mail, outlook online and even owl for thunderbird only required my code for reauthentication and not my password too.
The same it true when my auth session was within the 7 days but my password changed, it only required the updated password and not another authentication from the app.
This is a pain as my password is a long alphanumeric string so having to reinput this every week is a pain point that could be avoided (other clients have managed an implementation).
The UI for reauthentication could also do with some change. It should remain at the forefront of the screen with an option to exit rather than minimising if the user clicks on the background.
