[Affected Platforms]:

[Prerequisites]:

  • Have a Firefox 147.
  • Be enrolled in the “Old sidebar deprecation - Release” experiment.
  • The “Updated sidebar coming soon” callout message was not triggered yet.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open the browser with the profile from the prerequisites.
  2. Right-click on the tabs strip and click the “Customize Toolbar…” option.
  3. Drag and drop the Sidebar button to the right side of the Address Bar.
  4. Navigate to a website.
  5. Observe the “Updated sidebar coming soon” callout.

[Expected result]:

  • The arrow points to the Sidebar toolbar button.

[Actual result]:

  • The arrow points to the Address Bar, and the callout is displayed on the right part of the Address Bar.
