[Affected versions]:

  • Firefox RC 147.0 (Build ID: 20260105210555)

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Windows 11 x64
  • Ubuntu 24.04 x64
  • macOS 15.1

[Prerequisites]:

  • Have a Firefox 147 RTL build installed (e.g. “ar” or “fa”).
  • Be enrolled in the “Old sidebar deprecation - Release” experiment.
  • The “Updated sidebar coming soon” callout message was not triggered yet.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open the browser with the profile from the prerequisites.
  2. Navigate to a website.
  3. Observe the arrow of the “Updated sidebar coming soon” callout.

[Expected result]:

  • The arrow points to the Sidebar toolbar button.

[Actual result]:

  • The arrow looks as if it is overlapped by the Sidebar button, OR it looks transparent when the button is moved on the right side of the Address Bar.

[Notes]:

  • This issue seems to be reproducible only on Firefox RTL builds (e.g. “ar” or “fa”).
  • Attached is a screenshot of the issue.
