Details |
[Affected versions]:
- Firefox RC 147.0 (Build ID: 20260105210555)
[Affected Platforms]:
- Windows 11 x64
- Ubuntu 24.04 x64
- macOS 15.1
[Prerequisites]:
- Have a Firefox 147 RTL build installed (e.g. “ar” or “fa”).
- Be enrolled in the “Old sidebar deprecation - Release” experiment.
- The “Updated sidebar coming soon” callout message was not triggered yet.
[Steps to reproduce]:
- Open the browser with the profile from the prerequisites.
- Navigate to a website.
- Observe the arrow of the “Updated sidebar coming soon” callout.
[Expected result]:
- The arrow points to the Sidebar toolbar button.
[Actual result]:
- The arrow looks as if it is overlapped by the Sidebar button, OR it looks transparent when the button is moved on the right side of the Address Bar.
[Notes]:
- This issue seems to be reproducible only on Firefox RTL builds (e.g. “ar” or “fa”).
- Attached is a screenshot of the issue.
