Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open 'Message Filters'.
  2. 'New…' filter.
  3. Click on 'Subject'.
  4. 'Customize…'.
  5. If necessary, add, and select a custom header, and confirm.
  6. Click on the menu item now showing the custom filter.

Opening a modal dialog while a menupopup is in the 'hiding' state can cause
focus issues and UI hangs. This change makes onSelect async and awaits the
popuphidden event to ensure the pointer capture is released before the
dialog opens.
