I recently had to change the server address and login setup for one of my mail accounts, and since that change I've noticed that one aspect of the filters for that account stopped working -- filters with "after sending" checked stopped being applied after sending. I created a simple test filter to add a tag to all messages after sending, and the tag was not added. The filter log says that the tag was applied, but the message is not tagged. It's an IMAP account with the Sent folder located on the server. I tried deleting all the filters and starting from scratch with a new test filter, but filtering after sending still doesn't work.
Could it have something to do with the names of the IMAP account folders? They appear to be named after the servers, so the account with the filter breakage is still named after the server the account was previously hosted on.

This bug is marked a duplicate of bug 2008314, which is marked as fixed, but this issue is still present in 149.0.1.
I have a tag after send filter on an IMAP account with the Sent folder in view. I send a message, and the sent message appears in the Sent folder with the appropriate tag. Then the folder refreshes, and the tag is gone.

Maybe your server isn't retaining the tag?
I tested a fastmail and gmail account with 151 daily build, and it WFM.

I think you might be right. I was using a Comcast email address that had been migrated to Yahoo servers (Comcast is moving all their email addresses over to Yahoo), and I just now tested a Yahoo email account, and it had the same behavior of not keeping the tag. I suppose we just can't use the tag after sending filter function for Yahoo served accounts.

The thing is, it works to run the filter manually on the Sent folder -- the tags stick. So could it be something about the way the apply tag after sending function works in relation to the Yahoo servers?
