I could reproduce on a Pixel 4 emulator with Android 13. Doesn't reproduce on a Pixel 4 emulator with Android 16.

Carmen, since this is device dependent and I was only able to test on an emulator, would you mind verifying the fix on a build installed via TryFox from this try?
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/jobs?repo=try&revision=2028cf57c938d184b038527d5aeae1f10b650ceb
EDIT: Unfortunately steps to enable nova onboarding don't work on this build. We agreed to wait to verify the fix on nightly.

Looking at the latest Nightly 149, I can confirm the issue is no longer reproducible and the pagination dots are no longer overlapped by the device’s buttons.
However, the dots are now located very close to the Onboarding cards.
@Marcin, can you please confirm that this is the expected UI for the pagination dots?

The screenshots don't show the expected UI. The background should be visible under the navigation buttons and the dots should be closer to the bottom. Let me try a different fix.

We removed edge-to-edge support in bug 2020423, which makes this issue obsolete. If we enable edge-to-edge again, then it's important to test for this scenario again, but for now I'm closing this report.

This issue occurs again in Firefox for Android 150 (2026-03-18) after re-enabling the Edge-to-Edge feature. It was tested on Google Pixel Pro (Android 16) and Samsung S24 Ultra (Android 16).

Thanks Vasilica! Please verify if it's fixed in the latest Nightly. If it works for you we will request an uplift to Beta.

This issue is verified as fixed on Firefox for Android Nightly 151 (2026-03-24) on Google Pixel 10 Pro (Android 16), Google Pixel 10 (Android 16), Google Pixel 9 Pro XL (Android 17 beta 2), Samsung S24 Ultra (Android 16), Samsung S25 Ultra (Android 16), Moto G72 (Android 13) and Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (Android 14).
Confirming that the Onboarding pagination dots are fully visible using both navigation methods.
