rendering all screwed up. see attached screenshot. i don't know how to repro
this, but all i did was close a tab. what i found was a partially rendered
browser window. resizing horizontally would cause portions of the browser
window to render, but the rendered portion was slightly skewed. notice the
browser dimension changes in the screenshots.

my comment about the correctly rendered portion being skewed was a mistake... it
was just an optical illusion ;-)
It looks kinda like the scrollbar got out of sync with reality and let you
scroll of the edge of the page.
