Whenever I download anything I wait for the whole thing to download (well, 99%
at least) and then download manager says :
C:\DOCUME~1\<user-name>\LOCALS~1\TEMP\<temp-fname> could not be saved, because
the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator.
I was able to download with IE (trust me, it was a last resort). I think this
may be related to Bug #69938 (saving in a temp directory). I am, by the way,
able to read/write to said directory.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Goto url.
2.Try to download
3.fail
Actual Results:
C:\DOCUME~1\<user-name>\LOCALS~1\TEMP\<temp-fname> could not be saved, because
the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator.
Expected Results:
>>What should Mozilla have done instead?
Saved the friggin' file! Additionally, there should be an option for advanced
user that allow you to open executables over the internet (I know it's a
security risk, but if you can find the option, I guess you know what you're doing).
This is windows 2k pro on an intel 686. I will try this again later on linux to
try to reproduce the error there.

This bug is a dup. Try a 041408 release and retest. A security patch
was backed out to get this working.
