The 4/13 builds under Win32 are broken. When installing one of these, almost no
links work, bookmarks don't do anything, and hitting the back buttons doesn't
result in anything.
I'm surprised I haven't seen this reported yet. Discussion at MozillaZine
confirms that I'm not the only person to be experiencing this:

I see this on Linux too. 2003-04-12-21 build is fine, 2003-04-12-05 build is not.
Symptoms include inability to open the JS console, the "find" button in the find
dialog not becoming enabled, etc.
I tried applying the bug 201132 patch (the one patch in that range that looked
"promising") to my tree, and that did not cause these symptoms.
Could this be related to bug 201150?

2003041304 and -08 didn´t work on Win98.
-sea.exe install seemed normally, Profile Manager came up, and I selected my
default profile, but couldn´t start. It´s not named default, and I´ve got about
5 profiles in this folder. Next start Mozilla came up, but didn´t start DUN,
didn´t load URLs, didn´t matter if entered manually or from bookmarks, didn´t
matter if DUN was running or not. After upgrade installs I made clean installs,
to no avail.
When I started Proifile Manager I couldn´t start 'Manage Profiles'
Maybe Profile Manager is horked, I remember that it came up the last installs,
though I had checked the checkbox "Don´t ask at Start-Up".

Highly doubtful unless the nightly automation ignores build errors. Problems
from that bug should have manifested themselves at build time (as they did in
the NS tree). Bookmarks, links & the back button work in my local w2k build
though I haven't updated it since Friday.

Ditto + I get little squares painted on my windows at various spots. What I
think it is is the help dialog box - it never comes up full, just the small box
where the help textbox should be. To try it, just hover your mouse over
something that should have help text.

I meant 2003-04-13-05 is not, of course.... As in "this broke Saturday night or
Sunday early morning". I'm still thinking this is either jst (my attempt to
test notwithstanding) or a packaging issue. Or both, of course.

This bug can be confirmed on Win98 SE, the 2003-04-13-08 SEA build.
With that build, "Edit->Preferences..." does not open the preference dialog using.
In addition, I noticed that all "View->Character Coding" submenus are empty.
Maybe components aren't being registered? Or the components are missing from
the package? (as per #8)

I backed out bug 201132 in my local tree and this problem went away. I can't
actually mark anything in that bug because it's security-restricted, but I'm
marking a dependency...

This also breaks the profile manager
seen with trunk builds:
windows 2003-04-14-04-trunk
linux 2003-04-14-05-trunk
-launch the profile manager
-click any of the three available buttons(Manage Profiles, Start Mozilla or Exit)
nothing happens.
workaround is to launch with and existing profile from the terminal;
./run-mozilla.sh mozilla -P profile
but that just opens the app in the broken down state of this bug.

BuildID 2003041404 still broken on Windows (Win98SE), maybe fix will work in
next build. Installation of SEA.exe was normal up to start of ProfileManager.
Profile could be selected, but not started, no button was working.
Killed P.M., deinstalled, and reinstalled 2003041208.

this is fixed on linux depend build 2003-04-14-08-trunk
Jan Varga backed out something at 5:37 this morning. That would have been too
late for the clobber build. But would have been picked up in the 8 am depend build.
Perhaps this should have been marked fixed when that was backed out. Doing so now.
