Like how Ctrl+F focuses about:preferences' search field.

This is a niche enhancement for about:config. When I'm editing prefs in about:config, I find myself instinctively pressing Ctrl+F to search for a pref, but that opens Firefox's find bar instead of focusing the "Search preference field". Firefox's find bar is no help because, while it can search the prefs currently shown, it can't search for other prefs.

Like how Ctrl+F focuses about:preferences' search field.

That's all very well but what about the advice to just use the find bar (e.g. bug 1497725 comment 4, bug 1501658 comment 4, bug 1596053 comment 3, bug 1604240 comment 1) when users complained that the HTML about:config no longer allowed them to search for pref values?

Thanks for the bug links explaining the original design considerations.

Since this change would prevent users from using the find bar to search pref values (about:config's "Search preference name" field only searches pref names), I will abandon this review request.

I still landed the part 1 patch that had a typo fix and no functional changes.
