For using panel-list in the unified search button, it would be nice if it supported clicking list-items on mouseup so you can open the popup and select something in one click, without having to add a separate mouseup listener. This will also improve the experience in other places, e.g., it would fix bug 2017476.
We still have to evaluate if this should be enabled everywhere or only in some cases.
