Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
When dragging non-link text fragments to Personal Toolbar, the Bookmark Manager
or the Bookmarks Sidebar, invalid links are created.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.mozilla.org
2. Select the text "Status Update" at the top of the right-hand column.
3. Drag it to Personal Toolbar, Bookmark Manager or Bookmarks Sidebar
Actual Results:
A bookmark named "Status Update" is created. When you click on it, "The URL is
not valid and cannot be loaded" appears (the URL was set to the selected text, too).
Expected Results:
Not sure. Perhaps the bookmark should not be created if the dragged text is no
valid URL, or dragging non-link selections to bookmarks should be forbidden
("no-way" cursor).
