Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Firefox version: Firefox 149.0 / Firefox Nightly 152.0a1 (2026-04-21)
Steps to reproduce:
- Access: https://eu.bbcollab.com/collab/ui/session/join/5b144915f5bb4e04a30e0e3ca04ac183
- Observe the page
Expected Behavior:
"Uh-oh. The link used is no longer valid" message is displayed
Actual Behavior:
"Uh-oh. Firefox 150.0/152.0 isn't supported." message is displayed
Notes:
- Based on the GitHub report: "A window pops up saying Firefox 149 is not compatible. It was working fine a week ago."
- Self-registration is not allowed on the page, therefore I was not able to test this scenario with logged in user.
- Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
- Reproduces in firefox-nightly, and firefox-release
- Does not reproduce in chrome

So I think this is likely just another manifestation of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1912923 and we could ship the same intervention there.

Since nightly and release are affected, beta will likely be affected too.
