Trunk build 2003-04-25: Mac 10.1.5

Overview: In the address book select a card that includes an email address and a
URL. Try and tab through the card elements in the lower right pane and it skips
all email addresses and all URLs.

Steps to reproduce:
1. In the address book create a card with all the fields completed (including
email addresses, URLs, street address etc...)
2. Press the Tab key so the card is highlighted
3. Press the Tab key again so focus goes to the bottom pane
4. Keep pressing the Tab key

Actual Results: It never focuses on an email link or a URL. It does focus on the
"Get Map" button. This makes it difficult for keyboard users on the Mac.

Expected Results: Focus should go to all email address and URLs each time the
user Tabs. Once focus is on one of these elements then pressing the Enter key
should perform an appropriate action (i.e. focus on an email address, Enter and
a compose window should appear).

Found this bug while checking bug# 132146.

Build 2003-10-29, Mac OS 10.1.5

Reproduced this bug.
If Tab works at all in the Pane view of an address card, it should be more obvious.

1. Make an address card to test with, fill out all fields
2. Highlight said card in address Book. Card shows at lower right; emails, scren
name, and URLs are blue. When address is not blank, "Get Map" appears. All these
activate the mouseover "hand" cursor and appropriate actions are available.

3. Tab 1st. Highlight on address entry greys. No visible highlight of HOME
address "Get Map", but press Enter and Mapquest loads in the front window on
Mozilla. (I'd prefer a new window.)
Tab 2nd. No highlight on the map button, but WORK address "Get Map" is
activated on Enter/Return. Mapquest loads in front window of Mozilla.
Tab 3rd. No effect that I can find. Nothing happens when I press Enter/Return.
Tab 4th. The search box has the cursor.
Tab 5th. Advanced search has the focus but there's no visible highlight.
Tab 6th. Back where we started - address entry is highlighted.

What should happen, skipping any blank fields:
tab 1st - Email highlighted, Action w/Enter = Compose
tab 2nd - ditto for Addtional Email
tab 3rd - Screen name highlighted, Action = launch IM client. Would that be
Chatzilla? It's showing an icon for AOL Instant Messenger. (No Help File
entries for Chatzilla. I've never used it.)
tab 6th - Home address Get map should highlight action=Mapquest in new window
tab 7th - Home webpage highlight, action=webpage in new window (Choice of New or
Front could be in Addressing preferences)
tab 8th - surely an enhancement, but maybe a phone or fax client could be put in
here - have a Nothing tab to save room for it?
tab 9th - Work Get map, see 6th tab
tab 10th - Work webpage, see 7th tab
tab 11th - Search text bax. we should see the green highlight all the way
across. Action = if not blank, activate search routine. Otherwise Nothing.
tab 12th - advanced search, we should see the highlight - action=advanced search
dialog opens

This bug ought to be fixed, especially lack of highlighting on the buttons.

Thunderbird version 2.0.0.12 (20080213) on Mac OS X 10.5

This bug no longer occurs in Thunderbird because when I press "Tab", it only cycles between the address books pane, the individual card pane and the search box, and the process repeats itself again. The focus never goes to the bottom pane.

Not sure if it still applies for SeaMonkey though.
