Item 2: when the toolbar button "Get new messages" is pressed, that's the currently selected mail account that is checked for new message. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create 2 or more working emails accounts 2. send a message to these emails accounts, but do not retrieve them 3. close the "Mail & Newsgroups" and re-open it 4. press the toolbar button "get new messages" Actual Results: Only the messages for the first account get downloaded (as it is the one selected at the openning) Expected Results: Openning the "Mail & Newsgroups" should not select any account at all by default (no account name highlighted in the Folder pane). All the accounts should be checked for new messages if the button is pressed while no account is selected. The button would in that case do "Get all new messages". The current behavior of the button is not in cause: it's logical the selected item is the target of the action performed by the button. The problem is really in the fact that there is no way today to have all the mail account names unselected at some time. At least upon loading "Mail & Newsgroups", this should be the case. The workflow would be: I open the mail application then press the button in the toolbar to get all the new messages I have in my different accounts. Today I need to precisely aim at the arrow on the button and move the mouse to select "get all new messages" If I want to check only one account, I only have to select that account after the application started, and press the button.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
