It should be possible to select an email *and* its displayed headers (Subject,
From, To, etc) with a single drag of the mouse, IMHO.
At present only the message body can be selected.
This functionality is sorely missed in the transition from navigator to mozilla!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an email.
2. Drag mouse over email headers.
3. No selection appears
Actual Results:
No selection appears
Expected Results:
The headers should be selected, and the selection should be extensible into the
body text, and vice versa.

Selection of headers in general work, see bug 61497. Email addresses are a
exception, this is bug 167010. Since you mention the selection of an email
address I guess this bug is a dupe of bug 167010.
Furthermote you can´t select multiple headers at once currently. This is what
bug 169027 is about.
The other aspect you propose is that the selection should be extensible into the
body od the mail. I think this is just a bad idea that contradicts common
UI-design standards. If you want to select the whole mail including the headers
use "View|Message Source".
