Capture basic usage signals for the History Grid.
- Telemetry captures time from history query submission to page click
- Telemetry supports comparison of:
- time-to-click for grid view
- time-to-click for list view
- Telemetry captures click-through rate (CTR) for:
- grid view
- list view
- Telemetry captures:
- overall latency
- fallback image usage rate
- Fallback telemetry includes:
- number of fallback images shown
- percentage of fallback images within a result set
- Telemetry supports analysis of:
- distribution of pages returned in retrieval results
- percentage of users with high fallback usage
Notes
- Intent/topic-based heuristics are out of scope for MVP
