The PDF viewer in Firefox is adding the ability for users to merge documents (PDF format only, currently) into an open document. This is a continuation of document-level editing features organize and Split: [(https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2027900)].
The feature updates are for production

Open a pdf file in Firefox PDF, and open the new sidebar on the left (if not already open), and use it to:
MERGE

  1. Click on the "+" plus icon in the top-right corner to open your finder/file window.
  2. Select a file (PDF format only for this release)
  3. Select Open/ENTER
    Document is now merged with the original, user can see/navigate newly added pages in the page sidebar or scroll through the document.
