The VPN toolbar button icon is large. The issue is present on 151.0.2. Some users did not see the issue immediately. Others saw the issue after logging in and then restarting the browser.
The issue stems from a CSS custom property (--toolbarbutton-padding-inner) being unset for the rule that sets the width of the VPN toolbar button icon. It's probably best to set a max-width on the icon button to avoid the issue again, even in the absence of the property being set as expected.

This is not reproducing on Firefox Beta 152.0b3 and Firefox Nightly 153.0a1 (26-05-2026).
We are able to confirm the behavior after removing the VPN from Overflow menu and browser restart while on Firefox Release 151.0.2.

Verified this as fixed using Firefox Release candidate for 151.0.3 on Windows 11/macOS 26. The VPN toolbar icon has normal size.
