Steps to reproduce:

Seems to be over the last week, Uploads to ChatGPT fail after a few uploads. Sometimes I can get 6 or so, sometimes 1, then uploads fails. I noticed this also on Facebook, trying to upload things with drag and drop to Chat or Feed. If I switch over to Chrome, there is no issue with the same action. Closing Firefox and Cleaning Cache will fix the issue for maybe one or two uploads, then the issue presents again.

Actual results:

The Uploading buffer wheel will just stop at varying points in the upload.

Expected results:

obviously, the upload should complete.

Tried uploading images today to The Movie Database, again the same problem, 1st one will work, subsequent uploads fail.

and today, images will not upload to Kling AI, Again Works with Chrome and Edge.
Can also confirm this is not just images but text documents as well.
This is making Firefox un-useable.

A support forum user reported a similar problem with version 152. He hasn't been able to upload anything to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Web for a week or so.

I can't reproduce this using Nightly but just dropping a note here.

Thank you for taking the time to file this, and for the careful follow-ups across several sites (ChatGPT, Facebook, TMDB, Kling AI) - that detail is genuinely helpful. I'm sorry this has been so disruptive; having uploads fail part-way is frustrating, especially when it's affecting everyday use.

The fact that Chrome and Edge work fine, and that closing Firefox and clearing the cache temporarily restores a couple of uploads, points at something in Firefox's networking layer rather than the sites themselves. To track down the cause, a few things would help:

1. An HTTP log captured while an upload fails. Open about:logging, select the "Networking" preset, set the output to a file, reproduce a failing upload, then attach the log here. Details: https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/networking/http/logging.html . If you'd prefer not to attach it publicly, you can email it to [e-mail].

2. Your troubleshooting information: open about:support, click "Copy text to clipboard", and paste it here.

3. A quick check in Troubleshoot Mode (Help menu > Troubleshoot Mode), which disables extensions: does the upload still fail there? Also, do you have any antivirus, firewall, or endpoint/DLP security software installed? Tools that inspect HTTPS traffic are a known cause of uploads stalling part-way in Firefox specifically.

Thank you again for the detailed reports here and the follow-ups across several sites (ChatGPT, Facebook, TMDB, Kling AI) - that context is genuinely useful. We haven't heard back on the diagnostic request from a few weeks ago (an HTTP log via about:logging, your about:support output, a Troubleshoot Mode check, and whether a security/DLP tool that inspects HTTPS traffic is installed), so there isn't enough information yet to pin down the cause in Firefox's networking layer.
