Steps to reproduce:
On Firefox Nightly, Uploads are failing. If I drag an Image to ChatGPT or Grok, Or Kling AI, I might get one or two to work, after that, it will just sit there with a buffering wheel or whatever, but nothing more happens until it eventually times out. This is also happening for text documents now. I have found this for any file I drag and drop to upload as well as selecting upload from a directory. This is making Firefox Un-Useable.
Actual results:
Drag and drop an Image file, might work for one or two files but eventually will give a buffering or uploading wheel which will just spin until it times out. This is happening when uploading to ChatGPT, Grok, Kling AI and Facebook, I would guess this is the same for all websites but those 4 I have tested multiple times. The same proceedure works fine on Chrome or Edge.
Expected results:
The file should upload but is timing out. I did make another report of this but something in there says it was deleted and I don't know why, It can't just be me as it is working on other browsers and I haven't changed anything recently. As I say at this point Firefox is Un-Useable.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Machine Learning: General' component, but is not confident enough to move the bug to that component.

Thank you for the report! This really sounds annoying. I am reassigning this to the drag and drop component so that the specialists can quickly identify what might be causing it to stall.
If you like, recording and uploading a profile with https://profiler.firefox.com/ from a live experiment would be a great help for debugging.

Is this the same issue as bug 2047401? If so, let's consolidate this in the other bug.
It is the same issue, I posted the problem once, and when I returned to the site a few days later, I could not find the post and assumed it had been removed. We should never ASSUME should we, lol.
Just to add however, I don't know if the problem was rectified somewhere along the line or it had to do with another component that was fixed, but the problem seems to have been fixed. I loaded up the record a performance add on thingamigig last week, and recorded and recorded and uploaded and uploaded and nothing.
So, I don't know what's next.

No worries, this can happen. Thanks for confirming, and for filing bugs when you find issues. :)
Let’s close this bug, and continue in the other one.
