When scrolling a web page that contains JPG, animated GIF and regular GIF files,
either with wheel mouse or scroll bar, regular GIF pictures get scrambled.
Anamated GIF and JPG are working fine. If I use the page up or down everything
looks fine all the time. Problem happens in Mozilla 1.4a and Netscape 7.02, but
not in IE. I'm using an AMD Athlon P4 1.1Ghz , Win 98SE, 390Meg of Ram.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to web site above
2.scroll with wheel mouse or scroll bars
3.Look what happens only to the regular GIF pictures
Expected Results:
ALL graphics will scroll cleanly

received by email from reporter:
"
Using an older ATI All-in-wonder card 8meg of video ram.
It does not do it in IE.
With Mozilla and Netscape, only non-animated GIF's are affected while scrolling.
Page up and page down always have perfect GIF's
No other graphics are affected.

Did not put 2 + 2 together that it may be the ATI Card.
Knowing that, I changed my video settings to 24bit from 32bit.
The problem is now gone at the 24bit setting.
Thanks for the insight.
