STR:
- open the sidebar settings
- disable "Open tools from sidebar" (new option from bug 2047653)
- enable "Open tools from sidebar" again
Actual:
The sidebar launcher is empty and you have to restart Firefox to see the buttons again.
Expected:
All sidebar buttons are available.

Thanks for reporting. I haven't been able to reproduce this yet, but may I ask what platform you're seeing this on?
