I changed this to not confirmed because yahoo is quite unpredictable, and it's not confirmed to be a recent regression.

John, how is yahoo working for you recently?

How did i end up in this chain ....?

Nothing nefarious. Because you use yahoo and we're looking for independent experience, i.e. not the bug reporter's.

[smiling] I didn't suspect anything nefarious, just curious.
Thank you, by the way, for all your efforts supporting the product !

Here is another Yahoo bug 1174797 that recently showed itself in my email. I don't know if it got bumped, or has anything to do with this.

Only if you don't have cookies and js disabled. Did you disable them??

And are you still experiencing this problem with yahoo?
"Yahoo mail did not connect properly." does not seem like it would be the full, exact text of what would have been seen.

Please give more detail - screen shots, etc.

I have seen such an error on K9 Mail on Android, so it might actually be server-side here.

I did put in a screen shot.
