Details

This task is for ensuring OAuth is always an option in the IMAP/POP3 form as an authentication method, for incoming and outgoing. For that to be possible the following rules must apply:

  • Always show OAuth as an option regardless of known hosts
  • If the hostname is not a known hosts and the user selects OAuth, show text with a link to support article underneath the authentication method dropdown
  • Do not allow for submitting the configuration for testing when the hostname is not in the known hosts and OAuth has been selected. The user can click the support link for more information, or click advanced config
