User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:155.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/155.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a private window, go to some website
- Wait until an update is available
- Open the three-line-menu
- Press button "Restart to update Nightly / Your tabs will reopen."
Actual results:
The private window/tab didn't reopen.
Only non-private windows/tabs reopened.
Expected results:
The button shouldn't have claimed that tabs will reopen. This makes sense if you don't have any private windows open - but if you do, perhaps it should say something like 'Your private window(s) won't reopen, but other tabs will.'
Alternatively, maybe even private tabs should reopen when reopening after an upgrade!

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Session Restore' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thank you very much for the report. The additional message about tabs reopening came as part of the Nova redesign in bug 2049912. We should revisit that message for private windows, at least.
