User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/150.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start Thunderbird.

  2. In the “System Integration” dialog, select additional items for which
Thunderbird should be the default application.

  3. Click “Set as Default”.

  4. Ubuntu displays a permission dialog such as:

    Allow snap “thunderbird” to change
    “default-url-scheme-handler” subproperty “webcals”
    to “thunderbird_thunderbird.desktop”?

  5. Click “Yes”.

Actual results:

Thunderbird becomes unresponsive and Ubuntu shows:
“Thunderbird Mail is not responding”.

The problem occurred twice. On one occasion I had to force-quit Thunderbird.
On the other occasion Thunderbird exited by itself while the Ubuntu permission
dialog was still open.

Despite the hang or exit, the selected default-handler settings were saved.
After restarting Thunderbird, the previously selected options were already
enabled or disabled, and after the second occurrence the System Integration
dialog was no longer offered.

Expected results:

Thunderbird should apply the selected default handlers, close the System
Integration dialog normally, and remain responsive.
